  • Communication Skills Lab(20EG01P)
Engineers today need to develop good communicative skills along with their technical skills. As a result developing communication skills has become crucial. The DTE has introduced Communication Skills Laboratory in its C-20 curriculum. It acts as a platform for learning, practicing and producing language skills through interactive lessons.
Its Objectives
The Communication Skills Lab focuses on the production and practice of sounds of language and familiarizes the students with the use of English in everyday situations and contexts.
  1. To expose the students to a variety of self-instructional, learner-friendly modes of language learning.
  2. To help the students cultivate the habit of reading passages from the workbook
  3. To enable them to learn better pronunciation through stress on word accent, intonation, and rhythm.
  4. To train them to use language effectively to face interviews, group discussions, public speaking.
  5. To initiate them into greater use of the computer in resume preparation, report writing, e-mail writing.
The college has an audio - video classroom with internet facility to conduct the activities mentioned in the curriculum.

  • Statistical analysis is a scientific tool in that helps collect and analyze large amounts of data to identify common patterns and trends to convert them into meaningful information. In simple words, statistical analysis is a data analysis too that helps draw meaningful conclusions from raw and unstructured data.
Statistical Analysis using Excel is a blended learning program of theoretical knowledge with its application in Microsoft Excel software. It is focused on more industry relevant examples and situations. The python language is one of the most accessible programming languages available because it has simplified syntax and not complicated, which gives more emphasis on natural language is also a part of the C-20 curriculum . Objectives:
  1. Understand the tools of data collection, classification and cleaning of data.
  2. Able to summarize the given statistical data
  3. Understand the measure of location and dispersion of data.
  4. Learn the basics of Python programming.
The college has a well equipped laboratory to conduct the experiments prescribed in the slyyabus.
